Typical of architectural renderings in the age before Computer Aided Design, these renderings were constructed using the classical rules of geometric perspective. The vanishing points were achieved off-page by the use of an arc and t-square.
Each was done on 100% acid-free 20"x30" vellum. Colours and shading here were prismacolor pencils, though watercolor would also be effective.
