An abiding interest of mine has been Astronomy, a hobby which for me is a synthesis of an intellectual order imposed on the vast unknown, a practical pleasure in observation and instrument use, and a wonder of the beauties of the nocturnal sky.

In these pages you will find information which may be of use to the amateur, including some upcoming events of interest when they are predictable or known, some of my images of some planets, comets and deep-sky objects, and the simple equipment i use when observing. I will also include some catalogs of spectacular objects which i have transcribed from the sources, including the Messier c.1784, Bedford c.1840 and Caldwell c.1995. Certain mathematical formulae that i have found useful for the TI-85 programable calculator will also be made available as time permits.
